More Core Division (MCD) was born in the 80’s and is the most “top” division of the Gotcha brand(USA), an icon among the biggest surf brands of the 70’s and 80’s. The MCD came from the need to offer a differentiated line of products to meet the true public of lifestyle surf, becoming the most innovative brand of Californians in the 90’s. In 1995,the brand arrived in Brazil as a differentiated brand, which was quickly recognized as the most core option of surfing.

Surfers like Matt Archold, Andy Irons, Andy Garcia, for exemple, have made MCD become one of the most relevant brands of California in the 1990s. In 1995, the brand arrived in Brazil with the same concept: to offer Brazilian surfers a brand with strong personality.

Today MCD has consolidated itself as one of the leading surf brands in Brazil, having also expanded its legacy to other strands linked to the DNA of the brand, such as tattoo, music, kustom culture, among others.
